Dr. Julia Wiebe is the Managing Director of red otc development GmbH, a company of Finzelberg (a global leader in botanical health solutions). At red otc, she leads the full-cycle development of innovative, science-driven OTC and nutraceutical products designed for out-licensing to the global pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Her work bridges the gap between scientific discovery and commercial application, delivering ready-to-launch solutions aligned with regulatory and market expectations.
Dr. Wiebe studied Biology in Berlin and is also a qualified Agricultural Engineer, holding a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Technical University of Munich and an MBA from the International University Germany. She brings over 15 years of experience in R&D leadership, clinical development, and innovation strategy, blending scientific excellence with strategic business insight.
Prior to her current role, she served as Chief Scientific Officer and Member of the Management Board at Nektium Pharma, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s innovation pipeline and intellectual property portfolio, particularly in the areas of cognitive health.
Dr. Wiebe is also a Co-Founder and Founding Director of Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN), a global non-profit dedicated to advancing women in the nutraceutical sector. As Co-Chair for Europe, she champions initiatives focused on increasing female leadership, investment access, and participation in clinical research.
Her international perspective, cross-disciplinary expertise, and commitment to science-based innovation make her a key figure in the global nutraceutical and health products industry.
